World Junior Championships: By the numbers

6th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships –

Canada’s national junior team had a historic showing at the FINA World Junior Championships in Indianapolis, highlighted by a relay sweep by the women’s team.

Here are some numbers to put the performance in perspective:

15 – Total medals won

0 – Previous Canadian Junior Teams to win 15 medals

7 – Gold medals won, most by the Canadian Junior Team

2 – Canada’s position on the medal table

5 – Relay gold medals, including a sweep from the women and mixed teams
