• At the 2023 World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan, Hussey was part of the 4×200-metre freestyle relay that finished 12^th in 7:10.67, the fastest time for Canada since 2009
• Qualified for the 2023 World Aquatics Championships in Japan by finishing second in the men’s 200-m freestyle at the Bell Canadian Swimming Trials.
• At the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Hussey placed 12^th in the 200-m butterfly. He swam in the preliminaries for the mixed 4×100-m medley relay that captured silver.
• At the 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hussey swam a personal best in the 200-m butterfly and finished 29th. He was also part of the men’s 4×200-m freestyle relay team that finished 11th.
• At the 2022 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials, Hussey won gold in the 200-m butterfly. Hussey also placed fourth in the 200-m freestyle. His performances qualified him for a spot on both the 2022 FINA World Championships and the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
