Alexander’s Bio

  • At the 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Swimming Trials, presented by Bell, Alex Axon won gold in the 200-m freestyle, qualifying him for a 4×200 freestyle relay spot at his first Olympic Games in Paris.
  • At his first Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, Axon helped the 4×200 freestyle relay take bronze.
  • In his individual events he finished sixth in 800-metre freestyle and seventh in 1500-metre freestyle.
  • At the 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest, Axon was a member of the mixed 5-km open water relay that finished 11th. He finished 33rd in the 10-km open water race.
  • At the 2022 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials, Alexander Axon captured silver in the 800-m and 1500-m freestyle to qualify for the 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest.
