Kelsey’s Bio

  • At the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, Wog took silver in 200 breaststroke.
  • Qualified for the 200-m breaststroke final at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan, where she finished eighth.
  • At the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Wog finished 16th and 23rd in the 200-m and 100-m breaststroke.
  • At the 13th FINA World Swimming Championships (25-m) in Windsor, Ont. Wog earned a silver medal in the 200-m breaststroke with a personal best time of 2:18.52. She was also a member of the 4×50-m medley relay that finished 4th but earlier in the morning set a new Canadian record.
  • At the 2022 FINA World Championships in Budapest, Wog finished fourth in the 200-m breaststroke. She also swam in the preliminaries for the 4×100-m medley relay that went on to earn bronze.
  • At the Gwangju 2019 FINA World Championships, Wog finished 6th in the 200-m breaststroke and 15th in the 200-m individual medley.
  • At the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships, Wog was a member of the women’s 4×100-m medley relay that finished fourth. Individually, Wog finished fifth in the 200-m breaststroke, sixth in the 200-m individual medley and seventh in the 100-m breaststroke.
  • At the 2022 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials, Kelsey Wog won gold in the 200-m breaststroke. Wog also earned bronze in the 100-m breaststroke. Her performance in the 200-m breaststroke qualified her for a spot on the 2022 FINA World Championships team.
  • At the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Trials, Wog won gold in the 100-m and 200-m breaststroke. Wog also captured silver in the 200-m individual medley. Her performance qualified Wog for her first Olympic Games.
  • At the 2019 Canadian Swimming Trials, Wog finished second in the 200-m breaststroke and the 200-m individual medley, qualifying her for the 2019 FINA World Championships.
  • At the 2018 Canadian Swimming Trials, Wog won gold in the 200-m breaststroke and silver in the 200-m individual medley, qualifying her for the Pan Pacific Championships in Tokyo.
  • At the FISU Summer Universiade 2017 in Taipei, Wog earned herself a gold medal in the women’s 4×100-m freestyle relay as she took part in the morning session.
  • At the 2016 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Maui, Wog captured two individual medals. She earned silver in the 200-m breaststroke and bronze in the 100-m breaststroke. She also contributed to a silver medal in the 4×100-m medley relay with teammates Danielle Hanus, Rebecca Smith and Sarah Darcel.
  • At the 2016 Canadian Swimming Championships in Edmonton, Wog earned two gold medals in the 50-m and 200-m breaststroke events. She also took a silver medal in the 100-m breaststroke.
  • At the 2016 Olympic & Para-swimming Trials in Toronto, Wog earned a bronze medal in the 200-m breaststroke.
  • At the 2015 Canadian Swimming Championships in Montreal, Wog won two gold medals in the 100-m and 200-m breaststroke events along with a silver in the 50-m breaststroke.
